The possibility of showing my work and plastic and visual expression as a privileged means of expression, knowledge and both individual and social development has led me to work in different spaces.
One of my main inspirations comes from the materials that I have and that I have been collecting throughout my life and creating my personal "pantry". I have a wide collection of: magazines, old books, wrappers, ribbons, pieces of cloth, papers of different origins and textures ... I gather everything that I find inspiring, suggestive or poetic.
Fabrics are a wonderful material to create and they link me with the work of women throughout history. The slow process of embroidery, weaving and caring for life creates a recognizable emotional fabric. An overlay of layers and transparencies, of shared times and spaces.
